The Institute of Midwifery of the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) is dedicated to producing competent, compassionate, and community-oriented midwives who play a vital role in maternal and child health care. The Institute provides quality, accessible, and values-driven education aligned with national standards and the health needs of the community. The Institute offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines strong theoretical foundations with hands-on clinical training. Students are equipped with essential knowledge and skills in prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care, family planning, and community health services. Emphasis is placed on ethical practice, professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and patient-centered care. Through partnerships with hospitals, birthing facilities, and community health centers, the Institute of Midwifery ensures meaningful clinical exposure and real-world experience for its students. Faculty members are licensed and experienced professionals committed to excellence in teaching, mentoring, and service. Guided by the mission of KLD, the Institute of Midwifery aims to contribute to the improvement of public health, particularly in underserved communities, by developing skilled midwives who uphold integrity, competence, and a deep sense of social responsibility.

It is with great pride that we continue our mission of nurturing future Midwives who are committed to knowledge, leadership, and dedication. At Institute of Midwifery, we aim to the holistic development of students through an integrative curriculum and comprehensive clinical practicum. We strive to empower student-midwives as leaders by providing mentorship and meaningful community-based experiences that advance maternal and child health. Our programs are designed to strengthen community engagement, reflecting our institutional commitment to improving the quality of life of the Dasmareniños. We also place strong emphasis on research and evidence-based practice, ensuring that our students are prepared to contribute to innovations and continuous improvement in maternal and child healthcare.
