Message from the Vice President for Regal Formation and Mission, Research and External Affairs

As a development practitioner, I have entangled myself with genuine aspirations and unwavering hopes that Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmarinas, despite being a relatively new institution of higher learning, will continuously thrive in the realm of research and extension in the years to come.

I strongly believe in the vision and mission of its establishment for securing a sustainable future for the lives of the Dasmarinenos through inclusive research initiatives, empowering extension programs, and community-based development activities.

My commitment and dedication to discovery through research and development is imbued with passion to expand the research enterprise across disciplines and make KLD a leading research institution in the country. In support of this vision, we have restructured the research operational functions through the establishment of eight (8) research centers that are responsible for conducting research-driven activities related to culture, heritage, tourism, science, environment, climate change adaptation, public policy and social affairs, smart engineering, emerging technologies and innovations, and health security and population studies, lifelong learning and transformative teaching, global citizenship and engagements, and human relations and organizational development which are all anchored in 2030 Sustainable Development Goals Agenda.

It is an honor to serve as the Vice-President for Research and Linkages at KLD and to work with the leadership team, faculty, and staff who are committed to delivering insightful and creative solutions for advancing our institutional research mission. With the deep academic and cultural attachments KLD has in the City of Dasmarinas, we look forward to building partnerships with agencies to foster inclusion, equity, and diversity. Let us continue looking at opportunities rather than impossibilities!
