Institute Profile
The Institute of Science and Mathematics (ISM) at Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas is a dynamic and growing institute dedicated to advancing scientific education and research. As a young institute with ambitious goals, we are home to accomplished scientists and educators who bring expertise across the life sciences, physical sciences, and mathematics. The Institute proudly offers the Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences program, which has achieved a significant milestone with the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in March 2025. Beyond our degree program, the Institute plays a vital role in supporting the academic mission of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas. Our faculty members teach specialized science courses for students from other institutes, ensuring that learners across diverse academic disciplines receive quality instruction in scientific principles and methodology.

"One of my favorite scientists, Carl Sagan, once said, ""At the heart of science is an essential balance between two seemingly contradictory attitudes—an openness to new ideas, no matter how bizarre or counterintuitive they may be, and the most ruthless skeptical scrutiny of all ideas, old and new. This is how deep truths are winnowed from deep nonsense."" For me, this is a reminder that each person who seeks out knowledge and understanding through the methods of Science must be audacious with the curiosity burning in their hearts and at the same time stay humble enough to know that our search for truth may take us places we didn't expect. But Science has given us the tools and the worldview that has allowed us to discover how to cure diseases, solve world hunger, and explore the universe. Hence it is our best chance to survive and even thrive here on earth. We welcome everyone to the Institute of Science and Mathematics as we continue to explore and discover amazing things our world has in store. May you get that spark of curiosity and a critical frame of mind in your scientific journey."
