Welcome to the Center for Linkages, Internationalization and Collaboration of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas.
Our office is committed to building meaningful partnerships with academic institutions, government and non-government agencies, industries, and communities—creating opportunities that strengthen instruction, research, extension, and student development.
We look forward to collaborating with partners who share our vision of advancing KLD’s institutional agenda through sustainable and impactful engagement.
For planning and designing an applicable and suited sustainable community program, as per instruction of the OVPRL, the Linkages and External Affairs Department along with its unit offices conducted a community visit and profiling at the partner community of the KLD, Brgy. Victoria Reyes.
The main objective of the visit and profiling was to have an update on the socio-economic status of the barangay based on the chairperson’s perspectives.
Different socio-economic factors were discussed such as employment, health, education, safety, security, and environment. Socio-political aspects were also tackled such as infrastructures, government programs, barangay status on the upcoming BSK Election, settlements, and relocations.
As per the report given by the Brgy. Chairperson, Hon. Leonila Bucao, the community is not highly vulnerable to the different aspects discussed. But she gave several concerns that the barangay is being addressed and suggested to put focus on if providing a project. Those are HIV/AIDS Cases, ALS Programs, Anti-Drugs Campaign and Teenage Pregnancy.
But after the general profiling we concluded that the data provided was not enough to address the main community issue. Therefore, a per household community profiling will be done the soonest time possible.
