Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas celebrated its third anniversary on September 18-21, 2023. The celebration was filled with various colorful, fun, and exciting activities that thrilled the students, faculty, and staff.
The week-long celebration started with an opening program held at the Dasmariñas Track Oval and Grandstand. The opening program was participated in by administrators, faculty, students, and staff wearing color-coded shirts and different props representing their own Institutes and departments. This was followed by a Zumba spearheaded by the faculty of the Human Kinetics Unit. The celebration was formally opened by Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias through his welcoming message. The opening program was hosted by Inst. Jerbert Abargos and Inst. Gerielyn Austria.

Various booths operated and facilitated by different student organizations were also present on the first and second days of the week-long celebration. There were food booths, arts and crafts booths, music booths, and some organization-related booths. A live band was also featured during the second day of the foundation week. Simultaneously, different sports events were held joined by the teams from the different Institutes. There were ball and board games which were played during the first and second days as well.
During the third day of the foundation week, a Cultural Night was held at the KLD Gymnasium where faculty and staff wore traditional Filipino attires. This event also featured a competition among various clustered Institutes and offices performing Filipino dances such as Pandanggo sa Ilaw, Carinosa, Polka sa Nayon, and Subli. The group from the Institute of Midwifery, Institute of Nursing, and Institute of Information and Computing Sciences won the competition. Inst. Regienald Lacerda and Inst. Mary Jesreth Bayas won the Best in Traditional Attire.
The last day of Foundation Week was held at the COD Arena where Mr. and Ms. KLD 2023 and the Acquaintance party were celebrated. The afternoon was filled with extravagant costumes, attires, and uniforms of the 20 candidates vying for the title of the first Mr. and Ms. KLD. Prizes for the winners were also overflowing from numerous sponsors. At the culmination, Bryan Lanuza of the Institute of Nursing and Kristine Cassandra Bautista of the Institute of Engineering won the coveted crown. The pageant was then followed by the most-awaited acquaintance party where the students dressed up in their white, black, and silver outfits. Students danced and enjoyed the entire party.

The KLD@3 Foundation Week celebration was organized by the Institute of Student Affairs, Character Education, and Citizenship, headed by Assoc Prof. Jezreel del Espiritu Santo, with Inst. Rudy Bhonne De Lara, Ms. May-Ann Villapando, Mr. Kenneth Vincent Sarroca, Ms. Alina Javier, Inst. Con Marvin Serrano, and Mr. Emmanuel Castro.
