In celebration of Arbor Day, KLD joined forces with the Dasmariñas City Agriculture Office (DCAO) in the promotion of greener future for the city through tree planting. This activity happened at Sitio Buwisan, Langkaan II on June 25, 2024.
The graduating midwifery students of KLD in partnership with DCAO attended the tree planting activity. Their active participation is a testament of their enduring commitment to the community as future healthcare providers. This also serves as an inspiration for others to embrace environmental responsibility and work together to create a greener, healthier future for the City of Dasmariñas.
This initiative was made possible through the efforts of Mayor Jenny Austria- Barzaga in partnership with Panlungsod na Agrikultor Jennifer S. Ibayan and KLD President/College Administrator Dr. Juanito Cabanias.
The event was graced by the presence of Mayor Jenny Austria-Barzaga, Vice Mayor Rex Mangubat, Sangguniang Panlungsod Members, Board Members, Barangay Captains, Pagamutan ng Dasmariñas officials, Green Ladies, members of Kababaihan ng Dasmariñas sa Bagong Milenyo, and KLD heads led by President Juanito Cabanias.
