KLD has officially joined forces with CodeChum Philippines, becoming the 105th academic institution in the nation to integrate the innovative learning platform. The collaboration, which provides 2,000 student licenses, underscores KLD’s commitment to advancing its curriculum with a focus on digital innovation and future-ready skills.
The partnership was formally launched with a ceremonial handover of the Certification of Subscription. The certificate was presented to KLD President/College Administrator Dr. Juanito C. Cabanias by CodeChum CEO Jemar Jude Maranga and COO Xavier David Maranga. The momentous occasion took place in the presence of key leaders and faculty from the Institute of Computing and Digital Innovation (ICDI), signaling a unified vision for technological advancement within the college.
Among those in attendance were ICDI Dean Dr. Ferdinand M. Magtibay, Associate Dean Mr. Ebreo Blasurca, and BS Information Systems Program Chair Mr. Randolph M. Balleras. Also present were faculty members Mr. Keno A. Villavicencio and Mr. John Paulo B. Mungcal, who will be instrumental in the implementation of the new programming resources.
The integration of CodeChum is set to provide KLD students with a robust, hands-on platform to develop and hone their programming abilities. The initiative directly supports the college’s mission to deliver quality education that is responsive to the demands of the modern workforce, particularly in the fast-growing technology sector. This strategic move aims to position KLD graduates as highly competitive and skilled professionals in the digital age.
