The powerful spirit of collective action once again galvanized the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas as the institution successfully held its 9th Bayanihan Day on October 29, 2025. This is a celebrated tradition dedicated to the singular goal of ensuring the entire school remained well-maintained and conducive to high-quality learning. Students, faculty, and staff moved in unison, dedicating to transforming the campus through a massive cleanup drive.
The successful execution of the event followed a precise plan that originated from the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The directive laid out a structured cleanup system designed for maximum efficiency across the college buildings. Various student sections and employees were assigned specific rooms and zones to restore and refresh, while units and departments took on responsibility for entire floors. For instance, the Canteen Personnel were assigned the comprehensive upkeep of the Lower Ground of CB1, demonstrating that every member of the KLD community played a direct and accountable role in the upkeep of the facilities. The planning ensured a thorough cleaning, resulting in orderly classrooms, immaculate hallways, and well-organized common areas for the continuing use of the students.
By devoting their time and effort to organize, clean, and revitalize the campus, the participants not only strengthened the physical environment but also reinforced the Filipino value of communal responsibility.
