The KLD-Institute of Nursing (ION) conducted a blood-letting activity in partnership with the Pagamutan ng Dasmariñas (PD) on April 22, 2024 at the KLD Gym, College Building 1.
With the theme, “Donate Blood and Save Lives”, this initiative opened an opportunity for Dasmarineños to participate in a blood-donation drive with a common goal of saving people’s lives. Donating blood is a life-saving endeavor, thereby contributing positively to the community.
Through the collaborative efforts among ION faculty members headed by Dean Fe Compas, PD doctors, volunteers, and blood donors, the blood-letting activity was a success. Out of 267 registered blood donors, 128 of them were able to donate successfully.
