KLD visits BatSU for benchmarking activity

College of Medicine on June 7, 2024, for a benchmarking activity. The KLD delegation was composed of administrators from the Office of the Vice President for Research, Mission, and External Affairs (OVPRMEA) and Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs (OVPAA).

Present in this activity were: Dr. Regielene Gonzales, Vice President, Academic Affairs; Jerbert Abargos, Director for Center for Public Relations, Strategic Planning and Communications; Rudy Bhonne de Lara, Director for Mission, Linkages and External Relations Department; Judea Arthuree B. Aquin, Head of Strategic Planning Unit; Domarth Ace Duque, Dean of Institute of Science; Evander Llaneta, Director for Physical Plant and Facilities Management Department; Jaycee Toledo, Director for Center for Emergency Management, Security and Safety; Jerickson Bautista, Director for Academic Programming and Implementation; and Jannel Alano, Officer of
UniFAST Section.

The delegates were personally welcomed by BatSU Pablo Borbon Campus representatives: Dr. Rowena Abrea, Vice Chancellor for Development and External Affairs; Assoc Prof. Regina Chriscel S. Delute, Head of External Affairs; Dr. Dolores V. Viliran, Dean of College of Medicine; and Dr. Ana Pholyn A. Balahadia, faculty member from the College of Medicine.

In this benchmarking activity, KLD was able to glean insights into BatSU’s best practices in terms of offering the College of Medicine program, laboratory preparation, and program’s quality assurance. Additionally, the KLD delegates gained valuable firsthand observation through a tour of the college facilities such as the anatomy labs, simulation centers, and classrooms.
