KLD ICDI Triumphs at DICT HackForGov Regional Competition
KLD ICDI has solidified its cybersecurity standing in CALABARZON, celebrating major victories at the recent DICT HackForGov Regional Competition in Malvar, Batangas.

BS Information Systems student Raymond Deo A. Tungala was honored as one of the Top Performers among nearly 70 participants. Additionally, the KLD Cypher Team secured a distinguished ranking as Top 7 out of 17 teams, showcasing consistently high performance by finishing 2nd, 4th, and 7th across the competition's quarters. This achievement proves that KLD ICDI's BS Information Systems program successfully develops students who excel not just in academics but also in challenging, industry-driven cybersecurity arenas.

The success of the KLD Cypher Team would not have been possible without strong institutional support. The team was led by Raymond Deo A. Tungala, with team members Kirk Simmon C. Aravelo, Hanz Kelvin S. Llurag, and Khea Camille R. Tagle, and coached by Lodelio Millo, Mary Jane Legaspi and Keno A. Villavicencio. KLD ICDI extends its heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated mentors and supporters: Co-Coach Sir Lodelio Millo, Trainer Sir Con Serrano, ICDISC President Jemilson Buscagan, Program Chair Sir Randolph Balleras, Dean Dr. Ferdinand Magtibay, VPAA Dr. Regielene Gonzales, and the College Administrator and President Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias, as well as the entire ICDI faculty members for their invaluable guidance and encouragement throughout the competition, proudly raising the KLD-ICDI banner in cybersecurity.
