The KLD-Institute of Midwifery celebrated its 2nd Clinical Graduation on August 30, 2024, at the KLD Gymnasium. The event honored the accomplishments of the graduating class of Diploma in Midwifery. College President/Administrator Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias, delivered a congratulatory speech to the graduates. He also paid tribute to the late Congressman Elpidio ‘Pidi’ Barzaga, whose vision led to the establishment of KLD and its commitment to providing quality education, particularly to students who cannot afford to study in private schools.
The guest speaker for the occasion was Sarah M. de Leon, President of the Integrated Midwives Association, Inc. – Cavite Chapter. De Leon shared her wealth of experience and expertise in the field of midwifery, inspiring the graduates to pursue excellence in their chosen profession.
During the ceremony, the graduates were pinned and received their rings with the assistance of Dr. Juanito Cabanias, Ms. Sarah de Leon, and Dean Luchel Gloriani. The following graduates were also recognized and received the Best in Clinical Practicum award for their exemplary performance: Regine Grace Villanueva (Top 1), Charlene Mae Ladisla (Top 2), Mharl Angela Panganiban ((Top 3), Andrea Nena Vega ((Top 4), Jhorielle M. Estrella (Top 5), Jan Trizia Sarimos (Top 6), Adhrian Reyes (Top 7), Jycelle Cornites (Top 8), Janah Chantele Landicho (Top 9), and Marian Dacula (Top 10).
