On July 30, 2025, KLD hosted its 3rd Commencement Exercises at the City of Dasmarinas Arena, marking a significant occasion for 623 graduating students. This memorable event celebrated the successful completion of challenging academic journeys for individuals earning degrees from the Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSP), Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS), and Diploma in Midwifery (DM) programs.
The graduating class demonstrated KLD’s diverse academic strengths. The Bachelor of Science in Psychology program had the largest group with 456 graduates. The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program saw 165 graduates, and two individuals earned their Diploma in Midwifery. Also, the ceremony recognized outstanding academic achievements, with the BS Information Systems program honoring one Magna Cum Laude and four Cum Laude graduates. The BS Psychology program saw two Summa Cum Laude, fifteen Magna Cum Laude, and forty-two Cum Laude recipients. Additionally, four Leadership Awards were given for exceptional contributions to the KLD community. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mayor Jenny Barzaga, Sangguniang Panglungsod Members together with Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias. A highlight of the commencement exercises was the inspiring keynote address delivered by Dr. Marie Gold E. Sorila. As a distinguished Doctor of Medicine graduate from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Dr. Sorila shared profound insights and motivating guidance with the new alumni. Her address encouraged them to pursue their aspirations with unwavering dedication, embrace the principles of lifelong learning, and contribute meaningfully to the betterment of society. Dr. Sorila’s powerful message resonated deeply with the graduates and their families, instilling a profound sense of purpose and optimism for their future endeavors.
