President’s Wall launches its new feature, the Wall of Fame, dedicated to showcasing outstanding awards, accomplishments, and institutional victories achieved by our students, faculty, and the College itself. It serves as both a source of pride and a powerful inspiration for everyone in the KLD community. For our first Wall of Fame feature, we shine the light on the successful implementation of the Cash-For-Work Program! This partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) was made possible through the leadership of KLD’s top officials. The guidance of College Administrator and President, Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias, LPT, and the dedicated coordination by Mr. Rudy Bhonne R. De Lara, Director of the Center for Mission, Linkages and External Relations, ensured the program’s smooth and effective implementation for the benefit of the KLD community.
The Cash-For-Work Program is an initiative from DSWD, implemented under the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS). It is designed to offer temporary employment and career growth to eligible college graduates and currently enrolled students for the Academic Years 2023-2025. A total of 300 beneficiaries were targeted for the program at KLD: 200 college graduates and 100 college students.
