KLD’s “Project C.L.E.A.N.”: Regal 100 Classes Lead the Way in Classroom Neatness

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas has officially launched Project C.L.E.A.N. (Classroom Leadership in Environmental Accountability and Neatness) an initiative aimed at fostering discipline, responsibility, and a clean learning environment across the campus. This student-led program promotes leadership through cleanliness, with full support from faculty members. This directive originates from the Center for Emergency Management, Security and Safety-Climate Change Adaptation, Center for Academic Programming and Implementation, and Center for Physical Plant and Facilities Management. It establishes a framework for ensuring all classrooms are properly cleaned, arranged, and maintained after each class.

A key component of this initiative involves the Regal 100 classes, whose students are tasked with a practical performance which is to provide and decorate a cleaning cabinet for their assigned rooms. They are to be used for storing cleaning supplies, ensuring a tidy and organized space.

Initial feedback from the KLD Housekeeping Team has been overwhelmingly positive. They report that the implementation of these dedicated cleaning cabinets has proven to be highly effective in maintaining classroom cleanliness and organization. With cleaning materials now having their designated storage, the process of keeping classrooms neat has become more efficient, contributing to a more conducive learning environment for everyone. This initiative exemplifies KLD’s dedication to upholding a high standard of environmental accountability and neatness throughout its facilities.
