A total of 150 nursing and midwifery students from the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) participated in the OET Skills Workshop held on April 16, 2024.
The workshop aimed at helping students to become prepared for the OET Pulse, a test which focuses on the assessment of all four (4) English proficiency skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
Mr. Alvin C. Alonzo, OET-Education Specialist, provided a comprehensive discussion on OET strategies and practices designed to hone students’ healthcare communication skills. Along with him was Mr. James Darryl Macalisang, Business Development Manager, who served as moderator during the session.
Dr. Juanito Cabanias, KLD President/CollegeAdministrator, together with Dr. Fe Compas, OIC-Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dir. Rudy Bhonne De Lara, Director for Linkages and External Relations, also attended the program.
