The Pre-Employment Seminar 2025, held on February 28, 2025 at Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas, was a resounding success. The event, themed “Global Competence, Local Impact,” was organized by the Center for Mission, Linkages, and External Relations (CMLER) in line with the institution’s vision to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world. With 550 graduating students from BSIS and BSP as participants , the seminar featured an interactive talk between the participants and speaker aimed at preparing the students for the world of employment.
Ms. Emile Therese B. Garcia delivered a very informative and engaging talk on the topic of “Preparing for the World of Employment.” She shared her insights on the skills and knowledge that are essential for success in the workplace, with a special focus on crafting outstanding resumes that catch the eye of potential employers, and tips and tricks on how to confidently ace job interviews. The students were very receptive to her message and asked insightful questions during the open forum.
The success of the KLD Pre-Employment Seminar was a collaborative effort, contributing to the professional readiness of the graduating students.
