The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD)conducted a benchmarking activity with the Mabalacat City College (MCC) on February 15, 2024.
The delegation, headed by Assoc. Prof. Hernan G. Pantolla, Director for Center for Institutional Planning and Development, was composed of heads from different institutional units: Dr. Maria Lyn Alcanses of Institute of Student Affairs, Character Education, and Citizenship, Maria Beatriz Malicdem of Industry Engagement and Partnership Unit, Renato Barquilla of Institute of Information and Computing Science, Joshua De Fiesta of Admission and Testing Unit, Janel Alano of UniFAST, and Asst. Prof. Maria Archie Cabig of Elpidio F. Barzaga, Jr. Research Centers for Sustainable Governance – Center for Dasmariñas Culture, Heritage and Tourism.
The Mabalacat City College welcomed the KLD delegates with a campus tour and formal reception led by Happy Pelayo, Vice President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Josevy Taguibao, Dean of Admission Office, Engr. Erick Jaie David, Assistant Vice President for Management of Academic Processes and Systems, Kevin Aaron Peralta, Assistant Vice President for Linkages and International Affairs, and Dir. James Darwin Lagman, Director for Center for Community Research and Innovation.
This benchmarking activity with MCC served as an opportunity for the delegates to obtain new ideas and insights on the programs and best practices of the city college which can be replicatedby the KLD in the area of institutional planning, development, research, and extension.
